A facility for the community of the Parish of Lanivet and the surrounding area 

LFS is a not-for-profit film society based in Lanivet, Mid-Cornwall.

We show a mixture pf independent films and films provided through C-Fylm, Cornwall Rural Multiplex. Our aim is to bring a wide range of new, exciting and diverse cinema to the community along side some classic films and family favourites.

Our aim is to provide a mixture of films to suit all tastes and reflect a diverse audience.  To help you choose, we provide guidance for film screenings according to the British Board of Film Classification and the recognised rating that they provide. They are based on two over-riding principles, which are as follows:

​

• To protect children and vulnerable adults from potentially harmful or otherwise unsuitable content.

• To help children and families choose what’s right for them and avoid what’s not.
