PERFORMANCE, UMPIRING AND SPORTSMANSHIP!

The Lanivet Pandas received a trio of accolades at the recent Cornwall Netball AGM and as a club we are immensely proud in celebrating their achievements.

The Pandas were first to come under the spotlight gaining promotion for the second consecutive season rewarded for their incredible determination, fire, team spirit and a huge will to fight until the final whistle for one another and our club.

They say that success never comes easy and our Pandas proved this in bucket loads winning promotion to Div 3 against all the odds. They are a real credit to the club and an inspiration to everyone.

Our umpire Jackie Walker has shown a huge tenacity in gaining respect and admiration from Cornwall's lead umpire and mentor Debbie Ashworth. Jackie's journey as a rising star under Debbie's guidance has been simply incredible and this was recognised in front of a host of Cornish officials, clubs and players with a very public accolade and special umpire award. We're so proud of everything Jackie is achieving and so excited to follow her continued progress.

Last but not least it was the turn of our Bamboo Shoots who were voted the best sporting team in the whole of the Cornwall league. This is such a credit to the Lanivet Pandas and a worthy recognition of how these girls have represented our club displaying honesty, respect, positivity and responsibility in wearing our team colours.

Well done to you all - words are not enough to say how proud we are of the way you have represented the Lanivet Pandas in giving us such a good name.
