The Strollers secured a 16-12 win over St Agnes tonight but it wasn't plain sailing as they went into the final play 12-8 down.
But keeping their heads up the girls rallied with Vicki Luck shooting an outstanding percentage supported by Karen Scott to clock up nearly a goal a minute for the victory.
It was a fantastic evening with the Strollers showing how versatile they are. Jackie Carr switched from GA to WA smoothly while Ann Steadman and Julie Emery played both defence and attack to benefit the team.
GD Mary O'Connell was consistency itself intercepting some vital moves and being in the right place at the right time. While
Brian Sue Allwood and Paula rose to the occasion on their competitive debut growing in confidence with every minute.
A great team effort with Sharon Mills-george and Kathryn Mary Pearn coming on for the final push to help seal this much wanted victory in keeping with the winning ways of the Pandas and the Cubs.
